RevRag AI is looking for a Backend Software Developer Intern to work with its core engineering team on production backend systems, APIs, and AI-powered products.

This is a hands-on opportunity to build real features, work with experienced engineers, and understand how backend services and AI agents operate in production.

What You'll Work On

  • Build and improve backend features, APIs, and services.

  • Support product workflows involving voice AI and in-app AI agents.

  • Work with databases, data models, and integrations.

  • Write clean, testable, production-ready code.

  • Debug issues and improve system reliability.

  • Collaborate with senior engineers on implementation and design.

  • Participate in code reviews, documentation, and deployment activities.

Skills Required

  • Good programming fundamentals, preferably in Python.

  • Understanding of data structures, APIs, and web technologies.

  • Familiarity with backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

  • Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.

  • Understanding of REST APIs and client-server architecture.

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Good to Have

  • Backend or web development projects.

  • Git, Docker, and cloud platform exposure.

  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, or Redis.

  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD and deployment pipelines.

  • Awareness of React, JavaScript/TypeScript, LLMs, or voice AI.
