I have around 3 years of experience and currently work as SDE-2 at a startup, with a CTC of ₹28 LPA. I recently received an offer from PhonePe.

Role: Software Engineer
Total experience: 3 years
Base salary: ₹35 LPA
Joining bonus: ₹2 lakh
ESOPs: $40,000 over 4 years
Estimated compensation
First year: Approximately ₹45 LPA, including ₹35L fixed, around ₹8L in annualised stock value, ₹2L joining bonus, relocation, and standard benefits.
Second year: Approximately ₹42 LPA, excluding the one-time joining bonus.
The fixed salary is a good jump from my current ₹28 LPA, but I’m also trying to understand how the role and team compare with other opportunities at this experience level.
