5th Rejection in Campus Placements | 20 LPA CTC
I recently faced my fifth rejection during campus placements, and this one has been difficult to process.
The interview process had two rounds:
Technical Round
I was asked an easy palindrome problem, along with questions on Low-Level Design (LLD), Generative AI, core CS subjects, and friend classes in OOP.

HR Round
It was a positive and relaxed conversation about my background, the company, and work-life balance.
Both rounds felt good, and I walked out feeling that things had gone well. There were no obvious signs that made me think I wouldn't make it.
But the final result was another rejection.
Honestly, it's not just about missing out on an 20 LPA opportunity. It's the frustration of going through the same experience repeatedly, especially when the interviews seem to go well until the result comes in.
I'm trying to understand where I might be falling short, learn from these experiences, and keep improving instead of giving up.
For those who have faced repeated rejections despite positive interviews, how did you figure out what was going wrong? I'd genuinely appreciate any advice or perspective.

Repeated rejections can be frustrating, especially when you feel the interview went well. But don't let these experiences make you doubt your preparation. Sometimes, the final decision depends on things we may not even be aware of. Try to reflect on the questions where you felt less confident, and keep practising your DSA and core CS concepts. Keep going. One rejection doesn't define your ability, and I hope you crack the next one!
