I appeared for the JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle) campus placement process for the Software Engineer role. The selection process included resume shortlisting, a company presentation, an online assessment, a group discussion, a technical interview, and an HR interview.

I cleared the earlier rounds and reached the final HR round, but unfortunately, I was not selected.

Company and Role Details

The opportunity involved a six-month internship, with the possibility of a full-time Software Engineer or similar role based on performance evaluation.

2. Online Assessment (OA)

The online assessment tested technical fundamentals and problem-solving ability.

  • Duration: 60 minutes

  • Number of Questions: 26

Topics Covered

  • Python

  • Machine Learning

  • Aptitude

  • Pseudocode and output prediction

The assessment included a mix of programming-related questions, technical concepts, and logical reasoning.

This question tested decision-making, ownership, communication, and how I would handle an unexpected workplace situation.

Outcome: I was rejected in the HR round, which was the final stage of the selection process.
