Round 5 | Domain + DSA + Concurrency | Rejected |
After Round 2, the next two rounds were conducted onsite.
Round 1: Multithreading - Event Dispatcher
The first round focused on multithreading and concurrency concepts. The main problem was around designing an Event Dispatcher.
The discussion involved understanding the requirements, thinking about how different threads would interact, and handling concurrency-related scenarios.
Result: Strong Hire / Hire
Round 2: DSA - Data Structure Implementation
The second round focused on DSA and data structure implementation. The interviewer evaluated my problem-solving approach, implementation, and how I handled follow-up questions.
Result: Strong Hire
After clearing the first two rounds, the next two rounds were conducted onsite.
Round 3: Domain Round - Datapath System
This was a domain-focused round around a Datapath System.
The round went deeper into domain-specific concepts and problem-solving. The feedback from this round was:
Result: Weak No Hire
Because of the feedback from this round, the recruiter scheduled one additional domain round.
Round 4: Hiring Manager Round
The fourth round was with the Hiring Manager.
Most of the discussion focused on my recent projects, including the work I had done, my contributions, technical decisions, and the reasoning behind them.
Round 5: Additional Domain Round
Since the previous domain round did not receive strong feedback, I was scheduled for another domain-focused round.
The round was divided into three parts:
Resume / Project Discussion — 20 Minutes
The first part focused on my resume and recent projects. The interviewer asked questions about my experience and the technical work I had done.
DSA — 20 Minutes
The second part focused on DSA. I took around 30 minutes to complete this part.
Concurrency — 20 Minutes
The final part focused on concurrency. I was able to complete this section in around 10 minutes.
Final Result
Unfortunately, I was rejected after the final round.
Due to the NDA, I cannot share the exact questions asked during the interviews. However, overall, I found the difficulty level manageable.
One thing I would strongly emphasize is that communication is key. Be prepared to explain your thought process clearly and handle a lot of follow-up questions during the interview.
Good luck to everyone preparing!
