The “Day One to One Day” Journey Starts with Consistency
Hi, I’m Nilesh Rathore, currently pursuing my B.Tech in Computer Science at Sangam University, Bhilwara. Alongside my studies, I’ve been exploring software development, gaining internship experience, and preparing for upcoming placements.
My journey has included opportunities to work with Java development and backend engineering, while also building my own experience as a founder. Each step has taught me something new about technology, problem-solving, and consistency.
My First Steps into the Tech Industry
I started gaining practical experience through a Java Developer Internship at Grras Solutions, where I focused on Java development and the importance of writing efficient, scalable code.
Later, I joined LC Corporate as a Backend Developer Intern, where I worked around backend concepts such as REST APIs, database design, authentication, and cloud-based applications.
These experiences helped me connect what I was learning with practical software development and understand how different backend components work together.
The DSA Roadmap Behind My Preparation
While gaining development experience, I continued strengthening my Data Structures and Algorithms fundamentals through TakeUForward (TUF) and Striver Bhaiya’s resources.
My preparation strategy, first, complete the Striver A2Z DSA Sheet, then move on to OOPs, and core Computer Science subjects.
TUF's structured resources have helped me learn new concepts and approach my preparation with better direction.
Beyond Coding: Building Something of My Own
Alongside my technical journey, I’ve also been working as the Founder and Lead Strategist at TrustGenLeads, where I focus on performance marketing, conversion optimization, and tracking systems.
Balancing different responsibilities has given me opportunities to learn beyond academics and explore different areas of work while continuing to build my technical skills.
One Thing I Want Every Junior to Know
If there’s one thing I would tell my juniors, it’s this, consistency is the key.
You don't need to master everything in a single day. Follow a structured roadmap, strengthen your fundamentals, practise regularly, and keep learning from your experiences.
Don't compare your progress with someone else's. Everyone has a different starting point and timeline. Stay consistent, trust the process, and keep moving forward.
As the saying goes, “Day One or One Day.” Keep putting in the effort today, and give yourself the chance to achieve your goals tomorrow.
