Hi, I'm Sanketh Kumar, a Computer Science graduate passionate about Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI.

I enjoy solving coding problems and building practical ML applications. In 2024, my preparation helped me secure a Data Science role at Electronic Arts (EA) through campus placements.

I Knew Where to Put My Effort

Striver's A2Z DSA Course and problem sheets gave me a clear path to follow, while the teaching style made difficult concepts easier to understand.

It helped me:

• Build strong DSA fundamentals.

• Develop better problem solving skills.

• Stay consistent with practice.

• Prepare more confidently for coding interviews.

I Had More Ground to Cover

I knew a Data Science role required more than just coding.

My preparation included:

• Consistent DSA practice through TUF.

• Revision of core CS subjects.

• Strengthening Machine Learning fundamentals.

• Improving my Data Science concepts.

• Building meaningful projects.

• Preparing to explain my projects and experiences confidently.

I focused on becoming interview ready from multiple angles.

I Didn't Let Rejections Go to Waste

My journey included both on campus and off campus opportunities, along with a few rejections.

Instead of letting them discourage me, I used each experience to identify what I needed to improve. The goal wasn't to get everything right immediately.

It was to keep getting better with every attempt.

Less Noise, More Progress

My Advice would remain very simple:

• Don't keep switching between resources.

• Follow one strong roadmap.

• Practise consistently.

• Build quality projects.

• Learn from every interview.

• Don't let rejections stop you.

• Consistency matters more than constantly searching for something new.

The Work Finally Spoke for Itself

After staying consistent with DSA and continuing to strengthen my technical skills, the preparation finally translated into an opportunity.

In 2024, I secured a Data Science role at Electronic Arts (EA) through campus placements.
