After spending over 5 years in the industry, I’m considering a move from my current MNC to Qualcomm. The offer includes a higher fixed salary along with stock compensation and a joining bonus, so I’m sharing the numbers for others exploring similar roles.

Current compensation

  • Experience: 5+ years

  • College: Tier 3

  • Current CTC: ₹28.8 LPA

  • Base: ₹26 LPA

  • Annual bonus: ₹2.8 LPA

Qualcomm offer

  • Base salary: ₹32 LPA

  • Annual bonus: ₹3 LPA

  • RSUs: $30,000 over 3 years

  • Joining bonus: ₹7 lakh

  • Stock refreshers: Up to $17,000
